• 14k gold plated brass charms with electroplating for durability. 
  
• Natural black obsidian beads. Colour variations between beads and different production runs can be expected due to the use of natural gemstones.
• Length approx. 40.5cm (+/- 10mm) + 5cm extension chain. We use natural gemstones that are manually ground. As a result of this hands-on process, there may be slight size differences in the stones (up to $0.5\text{mm}$) across different batches. This can lead to minor length variations between finished necklaces of different stone types and production runs.

The Golden Rule: Last On, First Off

Your jewellery should be the last thing you put on in the morning and the first thing you take off at night. This prevents chemical exposure from personal care products.

Avoid The Big Three

To maximise the life and shine of your plated charms, keep them away from these three primary causes of tarnishing:

1. Water: Always remove your necklace before showering, swimming (especially in salt or chlorine water), or intense exercise.
   
2. Chemicals: Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, hairspray, hand sanitisers, and household cleaners. Apply these products and allow them to dry fully before putting on your necklace.
   
3. Humidity: Store your jewellery away from high-humidity areas like bathrooms.

Cleaning & Storage

• Cleaning: Gently wipe your charm with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear to remove body oils and dirt. Do not use liquid jewellery cleaners or chemical polishes, as these will strip the plating.
  
• Storage: Store your necklace in a cool, dry, dark place. The best place is often a jewellery box or the original pouch provided to protect it from dust and humidity.
